Im after a good needle for a hif 44 carb. I'm trying to get 1310 engine with a big valve head and 266 cam. What do people recommend for this sort of spec engine.

Thanks James.

Start with a BDL which is a MG Metro needle, and see how that work and go from there.

I have just done a 1310 with an SW5-07 cam, large valve ported head with 10:1 compression.

I currently a BDL fitted along with a yellow spring. (running Megajolt also). It drives fine for running in purposes and plugs are a nice colour.

Idle is a bit off but that could be cam or ignition. Will get it on the RR once I have done a few hundred miles

Hope this helps.

Regards

Steve
