Hi, just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.
My 79 mini is an Austin Morris on v5, tax disc and all the other sites that get vehicle details when you put in reg plate. (some say just Austin) all its previous mots were recorded as an Austin Morris including its first fail this year which was done at my local garage.
My latest mot was done (out of desperation!) at at halfords auto centre as i had done the work on the fails but my local isn't open weekends.
For some reason here its been recorded as a rover mini?!!!
It isn't a log book special and doesn't have anything dodgy about it at all. All numbers match (even has origional engine). The only thing that's changed is colour from brown to white which was done last year but this shows on the first failed mot with the correct make.

I wouldnt worry too much, its just the staff there being idiots and not having knowledge of older cars etc. It shouldnt effect anything in the future, all the official documents say Austin/Morris correctly. I am sure you could go back and ask them to produce one with Austin on it instead though - as it is their mistake.

Maybe they didn't realise it was the old T plate or something. Im sure someone I know when into Halfords for a bulb or something like that and they only had a rover mini on the system.
