SW5 is milder than the 276 which I run in my 1330, idles a bit lumpy at 1000rpm, pulls ok in traffic and not disappointed with mine.Whats the rest of your engine spec ?

Hi Mini Mad,

If you do decide to change cam I would be interested in buying the SW5 off of you. I sent you a PM on monday.

Ok the SW5 and the 276 cam are two completely different beasts. The 276 has more than twice the overlap lift for a start so the power bands are very different. It a bit like comparing apples with peebles!!

Do you prefer marmalade or marmite?

What your saying is something smother, or something with a bit of bite

AC beat me to it - comparing the two cams directly is unfair as they are designed to do different things.
The SW5 is a big improvement over standard, and makes for a nice smooth driving cam that gives you a wall of torque.
The 276 is pretty much the first of the 'hairy' cams and designed for higher rpm use at the expense of all round driveability.
