Hi!

Rebuilding an MG1100 engine to fit in my Mini. What piston rings shall I order, and from where?

It´s the original pistons... Can upload pics later, if that helps...

Are you reboring or reusing the same bores & pistons with a quick de-glaze ?

 

I have an NOS set of +.020" 1098 pistons sat on my desk...

Without seeing the block I would'nt be able to say if you need to rebore.  However if you do, don't buy the pistons from FW Thornton.  The pistons they supply for 1098 high compression engines are not that good.  I have used FW Thornton several times and they are very good, but this particular piston is the exception.
