Toying with going archless and really love the Historic race look.   My car is a '90 shell with all the usual mark 3/4 bits - grille, side repeaters, yellow rear no plate.  The obvious thing is to go all retro with a mk1 grille, over riders etc but to be honest i'm yet to be convinced on that option.

 

So can anyone show me pictures of post 1970 minis, (mk 3 grille rather than mk1 grille) with 4.75x10 Rose petals?

Only thing that comes to mind is a feature I saw in the Mini Magazine probably from the start of this year. I had a guys Yellow/Brown/Mustard MK3 styled as a Cooper S with Rose Petals (actually spookily was looking at this feature magazine at home just yesterday) I'll try n dig it out and perhaps scan it in for you when I bring it into work tomorrow

 

EDIT: found a link with perhaps the Mini I was actually talking about. 5th post down, Tanyas post with the Mk3 "S", actually one of my favourite styled Minis

Thanks for the link, as well as the tasty mustard example theres a nice blue car with rose petals further down the page.

 

by the way my title ment to refer to Mark, 3, 4 and 5 minis in the plural not to Mk3 Cooper Ss only, but i cant edit that.

No problem, oh yeah saw that too. Oh I see, well all Mk3's are nice anyway :)
