Most of the supercharger setups I've seen seem to run bespoke crank pulleys which have no harmonic balancer. Bad?

Or does the supercharger act as a bit of a damper?

Harmonic damper, preferable to have one, but the blower will provide some torsional damping & may mean the engine goes into the rev band where the crank harmonics are a real problem less, as it produces more torque at lower rpm. Little A's didn't get a damper until the A+.

I'm using the MED 36-1 pulley, and asked them about the damper, they said both wont fit (off the shelf) but the 36-1 pulley will damp to some extent.
