Hi all i am rebuilding a mini thirty 1000 auto , putting in 1098 crank and pistons, i,m also rebuilding the gearbox. I have two 1000 boxes which are good ,im gonna make a good one from the best bits. Ive since been given a box from a Auto 94 1275 sprite. I would like to know what fd was fitted to this and whats fitted to the 1000. Ive counted the teeth on the diff in situ which is 69. But ive been told you cant tell by this.

Crown wheel and pinion teeth will tell you the final drive ratio, if you can see it?
