Hi all,
I have an early 90's sprite and so it has the above distributor but the vacuum advance doesn't work.
I've managed to source another distributor that has a working distributor that has 2005 printed near the model number so is potentially a lot newer than my current one.
As the timing is fine on my car, should I just bolt off the top section of each distributor (containing the vacuum unit and electronic module) and swap them over? or swap the whole thing and try to put the new one in exactly the same place to preserve timing?
