As of yet, no. The only thing I would say is they are difficult to use if you are trying to get a standard length front end on as the radiator gets in the way, some modifications need doing to the front bars to make it fit. Apart from that its easy to install, easy to mount the engine to and is a quality piece of kit.

Best of luck

Kieran

Hello

I have a very tight budget to complete my whole car, I was just wondering how much money from start to finish an Allspeed conversion will cost?

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Rich

I reckon being reasonable you could spend 4 to 6 grand depending on what you planing on changing like for instance coilovers rollcage. Are you changing to a limited slip diff it all comes down to how much you pick the engine and running gear up for and what kind of car your building. A race spec mini for on the road or like standard interiror sleeper style. But it's still alot of money. I've only just ordered the subframe and I've got all the engine but I'm attempting to turbo charge it but until I get the subframe I don't know which way I'm going to set up the manifold to not have anything poking out of the front :/

I have a separate budget for all the welding and respray works for the car etc.. I was just trying to gauge the total amount for the engine conversion really, I've seen some £500 lumps with ecu and gearbox on eBay (of all places), I would rebuild the engine myself (being an engineer), and then £2k (ish) for the kit, is there anything else I would require?
