A- Post Stiffner Trouble

hi guys im having a few troubles, basically i want to attach the A post stiffner to the A post but if i put them together and line the square and circular holes up then it puts the other side out and vice versa is there anything i can do to make them fit better,,,,,,  thanks

I had to file the hole to fit it. Line it up an file the hole to suit.

sorry what i meant was the two panels dont fit together very well

You may have to do some trimming and panel beating to get them to fit nicely.

ok i thought so.... would you weld them together before fixing to the mini and should i plug weld them together or seem weld?

I would weld them in separately and by plug welding. Seam welding could potentially distort causing more issues.

as this is going to be my first ever repair can you give me a rough idea of how many plug welds would be ok  is it still good to do them about every inch?

Yes one an inch will be good, just bare in mind though where you need to get in to grind them down.
