Exactly the same happend to me and lots of others on here, they promise the online stock checker is correct but it rarely is then they take your money and dont even bother to inform you they have nothing to send.

I mostly use Minispares and have never really had a problem like this. Can you cancel your order and order through Minispares?

Minisport say " We have in place a system on the website that shows the exact status of each product available to buy. This is 99% accurate although some slight descrepancies can occur for example if multiple customers are buying the same item but not checked out, will show incorrect stock levels. "
Which is not true because when I ordered my item it showed instock at the time of order and was still showing instock over a week later when I was told on the phone they had no stock and didnt know when they would have any!
I even said the the guy its not a problem if things are out of stock etc - these things happen but why cant you 1. email people to let them know 2. not take peoples money UNTIL the goods are dispatched.
Clearly they dont want to listen and continue to annoy customers.

They seem to be well-known for doing this. Never had that problem with Mini Spares.

Are they still doing this. I stopped ordering online from Mini Sport about 5 years ago because of this situation.
Mini Spares always tell you if it is not in stock.
By the way, they may send the parts in 7 days, however it will probably take longer.

Happened to me a couple of years ago and has happened on pretty much every order i've placed with them. I had to chase them to cancel the order and get my money back.
I think i've even been charged twice for delivery when only 1/2 the stuff was available.

Minisport are also currently unable to get hold of any winter tyres apart from nankangs. But it still lets you order hankook, yoko and maxis with a stock level of "to order" and then you get an email saying they cant get them and only have nankangs.
