Hello there been looking into front spoilers/splitters and was wondering if anyone has any pics of there's fitted been looking at the Abs Motorsport 60's Race Front Spoiler or Mexico Front Chin Spoiler (links below)

personally i think the 60s race one looks better. imo it blends better into the front of the car.... thats just me tho  :D

Ye I am more tempted by the 60s one to be fair, would like to see some pics of it fitted and painted before I make the final decision though

It's not just the chin spoiler for the mexico, you've got to buy the sombrero to go with it as well.

 

but on a serious note, I'd go for the 60's front spoiler merely for personal preference.

Could us a VW mark 1 golf GTI or standard one.

If your thinking the mk1 golf splitter I fitted to one of mine, it was certainly wasn't a 'bolt on' splitter. As I'd modified/welded the front valance with a rear valance, made up brackets for the splitter to attach and then blended it all in.

I like that ALOT think I am a bit sold on that to be fair. I have a fibre glass 1 piece front so may make it a bit easier? So is that a plastic splitter then?

Already got the sombrero!!! Going for the mustache next haha

It could well be easier to fit to a fiberglass front end if the front valance is similar to that of a mk1 without the cut-out sections. But then mine was only a tenner off eBay back in 09 (think) for a genuine plastic non gti (not as deep) splitter.

Had a quick look on eBay was gti ones no non gti ones atm. if I did get a gti one do you think it would sit a little lower and stick out more at the front then?

Don't like either option.


Not everyone's taste but was looking at my options to hide an intercooler come across these and quite fancied the idea
