The only reason I mention it is that Webasto gets used as a term to describe folding roofs (I called mine a Webasto for ages) but there are a couple of different types. The early ones - Britax - and the later ones - Webasto.
I've removed and replaced the Britax roof on my project so may be able to offer advice if it's one of those.

easy job to remove the roof , hardest part is removal of headlining without ripping it, my britax roof was removed in about 10 minutes as the headlining needs replacing,

Something i considered myself but then chickened out as I don't have anywhere undercover to store the car if I couldn't get it finished before it started to rain

i have a webasto tudor folding room and is in need of a fabric replacement! will be watching this thread!
