Has anyone any knowledge of fitting a power steering column to a mini. I have a Corsa column in mind, I believe some are adjustable and some are not. Any info would be appreciated.

ive seen a corsa unit done a couple of times. both had the corsa column cut at the bottom end and the mini bottom fixing welded in place. Unfortunately only one of the 2 was fully installed and they had left all the vauxhall fixings including the wheel in place so it looked very odd plus to me took up alot more space than the mini column particularly the wheel, it looked massive and I doubt I could have driven it comfortably. I think I might have pics somewhere,  I'll add em if I can find em

Theres a guy on ebay who sells the kit, or you can use a corsa c or d column. The corsa d is a more compact unit.As ryan said they are a bulky unit which sits underneath your bottom dash rail and is impossible to completly hide. They do work well and have a control knob to vary resistance. Great in car parks with 7x13.

Mini's don't need power steering! You will ruin the feel of the drive, you might as well buy a vauxhall corsa lol
