Are there two locating dowels that sit between the engine and gearbox At the backmof the block, one either end. Ive taken some photos to describe the holes i am on about. If so where do I get them from. I am about to order the minispares gearbox to block fitting kit but I can't find any.

Hello Jack,

Somerford Minis show the dowels you need as part No 22H983.
Also from memory I know one of the gearbox-to-block dowels is "hollow" to allow a bolt to pass down through it. The head of the bolt sits in the recess of a thick washer.

Hello again Jack,

Just done a bit more digging, and the hollow dowel you need is part No 12H1824.
This dowel goes nearest the flywheel end.

Guessworks on here will probably be able to help you with both dowels!!
