1971 Tax Exempt Mini Miglia Racecar (Road Legal)

This Mini is finished to the very highest standard. It was originally prepared by TDK Racing and raced in the Dunlop Mini Miglia championship by Dave Kimberley. Since then the car has undergone a full restoration and has been converted for use on the road. Since the restoration the car has only covered 250 miles and has NEVER been used on winter roads or in the rain!
The car has MOT till May 2014 and is taxed until April 2014 (TAX FREE 1971 car).

Last winter the car was taken back to a bare shell and has been fully rebuilt and restored. All rust was cut out or treated if it was superficial. Mounting bolts, nuts, fixtures etc. have all been reconditioned or replaced. Bolt on components, subframes, interior etc. have all been reconditioned and painted etc.
The current spec of this car is HUGE:

EXTRAS
Polycarbonate front screen (Still with Dunlop Mini Miglia Challenge sun strip)
Five rare 10" Spectrum Split Rims (4 with slicks)

Four Miglia arches

SHELL and EXTERIOR
Mini Miglia spec fully seam-welded shell, (Now showing a few minor superficial spots of surface rust around the roof gutter)
Carbon Fibre removable front end with carbon fibre bonnet and carbon fibre boot lid (Some minor scratches and crazing of the gelcoat on the front end)
Fibreglass wide arches
Extended internal rear arches to accomodate wider wheels
Front end brace bars
Light weight race doors
Bronze polycarbonate windows complete with slide on driver’s window
NEW Heated windscreen
Clear rear light lenses
Clear front indicator lenses

Smiths 130mph speedo
ATL fuel gauge & sender unit

Freshly rebuilt engine with new main and big end bearings
Twin 45 weber on long manifold

Gaz Super 7 dampers all round with lowered front mounting brackets

Brand new Quickrack steering rack
10" Revolution alloys with Yokohama tyres and spare Revolution alloy wheel with Falken tyre

ELECTRICS
Custom heavy duty wiring harness with modern relays & fuse box
Battery master kill switch in centre of dash
Key ignition in dash with starter switch

This car is truly stunning, is amazing to drive and is reliable. Even in fully road legal spec this mini weighs just 606kg! The mini will come with the 10" Revolution alloys on the car as the slicks are not road legal. Both sets of wheels are on the car in the pictures for illustrative purposes only. The car is located in Bexley, South East London. £6995 ovno.

Love it but my arse would be in the floorwell if I wanted to touch the peddles without yellow pages glued to my soles lol

The drivers seat is on runners and can go forward and back from this position. So no yellow pages required lol.

This car is gorgeous and if i had the cash would buy it myself! I would cost WAAAAY more than he is asking to build this car yourself.
