I've currently got standard silver superlight wheels which I think I'm right in saying are 4.5/12 with some 145/70R12 tyres. I'm looking at going to some white 4/12 superlights with polished rims, I think it'll look great but I can't for the life of me find any examples. Anyone know where I could look? 

I'm also thinking of switching to Falken 165/60 tyres, I'm assuming that it'll still all work with standard arches, but will I notice much difference or should I stick with 145/70's?

I think white/cream etc. colour wheels look really good, especially on darker coloured cars. I repainted my steelies an off white colour myself as they just had horrible hubcaps on. Havent got any examples of the wheels you're after but i think you should go for it.
