Tried goggling it and the conversion video seems to be gone from Youtube.Has anyone got an up to date link so I can look at this to make sure I have all the bits and am ready to go.

I did the conversion many years ago - it works really well - excellent brakes with no squealing/pulling to one side/fading - not like Mini brakes at all! Contact me if you need any help with it.

+1 on that I did mine this year and are great. Half the price of cooper s set up. But check what wheels fit first! Not like me ha ha.

what's the difference between turning the discs down to 7.9 and using the fiesta callipers as opposed to the minis callipers?

You needs metro drive flanges also which pulls out the disc further clearing hub and carrier.
