been looking for a good hour and a half!

all im trying to find out is,

where do i cut for a removable metal front on my clubman? the a panels? after the seems? ahhhhh :P

pictures would be the best thing!

and how do i make the front clip on and off? do i use where the subframe bolts are at the front?

uncertain between flip front or removable but i think removable would be easier?

thankyou

Removable would be easier, although the hinges come apart easy enough. It's just in the way if you leave it on and try to reach the engine!

Some put dzus fasteners on a welded tab down the A seam, and then pins or similar onto the front part of the subframe.

the front is my worry, im assuming just use the wholes in the subframe at from towing whole but put longer bolt in there, just how do i attach it to the body? i dont want it to look messy and rust i want it to last, i think i would put aero catches down the side or something,

its just the front and where i cut really :/

If your cutting off your front end, are you keeping the inner wings? Are you using brace bars to retain strength? Will you be fitting new a-panels? are you going to make the wiring quick release for when you take the front end off? There's a lot of things to take into consideration when doing this mod

You're trying to use the front end you have currently? Or are you using new panels?

thanks mate!

i am essentially wanting to keep as much body work as physically possible. flipping or removable, i still will be cutting the body work out to suite round the engine and subframe to suite. the a-panels will be staying put, the front end wiring will be hidden and quick release on a tow loom plug. i am still undecided whether flip or removable but either way it still needs to come of in the same way i think :)

thanks for the brill pictures! a ton of help!
