Not got my Mini yet but already looking into what i might do when I get it.

 

I'm not a huge fan on the rear lights, I know I can improve the look with dark or crystal style lenses and also seen these LED options to work with the lenses (they do two types 4/6)

But looking more custom I was wondering how easy it would be to take the rear units off and fit something like these:

I think behind the units are two holes? so these could possible be an easy fit, with indicator on one and reverse on the other.

the first ones you may see the leds as dots not a glow like a bulb
