Just been out in my 1989 mini and found out that my rear lights are not working. When I put the lights on I can hear the relay clicking and the dashboard lights do not come on. Can anyone think what it is?

have u got dash lights?

No just the small light that comes on when u put main beam on

check the bottom fuse in the engine bay if thats blown you have a short if not maybe corroded wire.

Look at all the fuse and there are not blown im lost what to do

try wiggling the connections on the fuse box and giving the fuse a wiggle (if you haven't already)

Have you lost all rear lights including indicators, reverse lights, brake lights, etc?

 

I would check you earth points in the boot where you rear lights earth on the body work.

Done it. It was the wiring in the boot
