Does anyone know of any companies who can test and repair petrol tanks?
Wanting to get it tested before I refit it.

Is it a saloon tank? If it is there are so many around and they are only worth pennies so I wouldn't think it would be worth getting it repaired. I have a good one you could have for a tenner.

bung it up, use a tyre valve and pressurise it and spray with soapy water.
