As title says really i've got a quick question about my dashboard, pulled it out of the garage earlier, as its nearly time for it to go back in and realised what a mess it looks, its cracked there's paint chipped & it just looks a bit of a hack job.

So the question i have is whats the best thing to do with it? I was talking to my dad earlier but he doesnt like the idea of sanding and respraying it as it'll just soak up all the paint, I've got a few ideas for when its done but at the mo it just looks awful

any help would be appreciated no pics at the mo though unfortunately

Cheers in advance

Sand it and put a thin layer of filler on it then smooth that out give it some undercoat then it should work like spraying metal.

sand it down & wax / polish it
