Hi has anyone put seats out of mgb into mini just wondered if they fit/ looked ok

Wouldnt be much point, the Mg Bgt seats are nothing special, you wouldnt gain anything by using them as they offer less support than late mini seats and about the same as early mini seats up until the 80s, you would be much better off fitting seats from a newer car if you want comfort or buckets if you want bum hugging support

They are also an odd shape to allow for the transmission tunnel. I don't think they would look right.

Cheers was just a thought. iv got buckets with headrests black with white piping but i think they look to after market so just looking at options really

I find mine much more comfortable than the ones in my mini (83) and the head rest is much higher and therefore safer but I still wouldn't bother swapping them over, there are much better seat out there if you are going to the effort. Unless of course you happen to have a spare pair in which case go for it.
