When I purchased my Sidewalk the fuel gauge did not work, since then it has had the tank replaced but after filling up it is just showing above the red, also the rev counter has never been right for example at 50 it shows 5000rpm and I know by the sound of the engine its not reving that fast. So am I looking at something electrical.

The sidewalk although passes the MOT each year, as with all mini's its an ongoing project, I often when working on it think what the bl***y h**l have they done here :ohno:

fuel guage could be the Voltage Stabiliser, the Rev counter could be a non injection one as i have read on here that they have more pulses per RPM between the ecu and clock than the non ecu type.
