Hi,

I just bough myself a 1275gt clubman from 1980 and I am curious about the zcars A-series front subframe.

What are the main differences with the usual one?

How does it affect the handling of the car vs. the usual one?

what are the + and what are the -?

Thanks for any info!

Best regards Yannick

Our A series subframe is designed to allow better geometry especially with lowered cars massively reducing bump steer

It is also stronger and a little lighter then the standard item

Our subframe is also fully rose jointed giving plenty of scope for adjustment it does require some thought to the radiator in round nose cars as the inner wing are removed to allow fitment of the subframe

we only have 2 left in the company 1 of these has now been sold leaving just 1 with no plans to produce anymore in the foreseeable future
