hi everyone im building my CG13DE engined mini atm and ive been debating whether to make it road legal would love to do L"B in it for example. of course the car has a fibreglass clubman front end and nissan engine up front, my question is will it cost a arm and a leg to insure or if you got a K series, vtec heavily modified mini who are you with and what do you pay?

I would think that an engineers report will be required...... For sure it will cost more and will be a specialist broker for modified cars. Give a few brokers a call and see what they say?? Some are n the Mini Magazine adverts?

I have insured mine via Adrian Flux with no problems at all.
