Hi All,

 

Had the shafts out of my sisters mini as its been leaking a tad around the pots. Fitted some new seals however even with new seals the pots seem pretty wobbly to me. How bad can these get before problems occur?

Is there any type of repair kit like you can get for the hear change that has a guide ring?

 

Sorry if the description isnt too good but hopefully someone will know what I mean.

The passenger side is much worse than the drivers side.

 

I don't want to fill her up with oil if she is going to throw it out past the new seals?

Sounds like the side cover bushes are worn.

 

Replacement of these requires pressing out the old ones, pressing in new ones and reaming them out to the correct size.
