Hi

 

Minispares state WZX1099A - FLOAT NEEDLE/SEAT FOR HIF38/44 LARGER TYPE VALVE

 

do they mean as opposed to the smaller external float chamber valve (hs2 hs4) brass seat 

 

or does the HIF38 have 2 different sized valves ???

 

​mine has the rubber seat which can't handle the electric fuel pump since I removed the regulator   

 

so looks like I will be refitting it & new needle

 

I fix the oil leaks (for the moment) -

 

then the heater springs a leak , fixed that -

 

then the carb starts pi$$ing like a race horse
