Hi all, here's me

I've always loved minis (the proper ones) and have always wanted to own one for a toy. As luck would have it, my brother and missus have emigrated to the states and she's left behind her Paul Smith LE for me to look after.

It needs some restoration work on the bodywork and I intend to get the engine out and give it a good going over. My daily drive is an actually an Impreza WRX but needs nothing doing do it. So the mini (at the other end of the scale) is to become my new hobby adn project. And best thing about it is it will be funded by her!

I've been looking at some of the re-build projects on here and they are very impressive ! I don't think this will to be to the same scale but I'll probably do some progress pics and hopefully get a blog going too. Watch this space...

thats lucky!! even though you are restoring the mini, i'd insure it as with agreed value because it's a Paul Smith LE

What is the value of a Standard Paul Smith (fair condition)? I stuck my finger in the air and got £3k
