I can't see any reference to the great run on the Forum so I just thought a word of appreciation for the organisers wouldn't go amiss. I think it is just amazing the amount of effort that must be put into running this event. It must be a full time job for them.
Well the weather let us down this year - the first bad weather run I have experience in 6 years, but boy did it rain. As an (unsuccessful) show and shiner it was a bit frustrating. You just got the car looking good, then down comes the rain. Leather it off then more rain etc etc. The run home was through the lanes of Sussex and Surrey so I had to wash old Popsie down again when I got home - then it poured again!! In the words of Homer Simpson."Doh!"
