For rallying a Mini the Mintex 1177 brake pads with AP600 brake fluid are best if running 12" wheels with 8,4" discs. For 10" wheels the Carbon-Metallic pads as supplied by Mini Spares are fantastic.
If driving anywhere near competitively at night the brakes will fade very quickly without proper competition brake pads.
