I sure as hell dont want to get up at 5am or whatever and be sat there for 5 hrs waiting to get out!!! Cant see my missus going then (oooh, bonus!), Might park up at my mates gaff round the corner and just walk down for my plate etc and join convoy down the road a bit??? Or is that a no no?

That's perfectly fine, quite a few park in the lower carpark and then walk up and grab their pack and then shoot off.
If you want to be in the queue at CP, you'll want to get there the night before. Then you could walk up to your mates haha

never thought they did an official fancy dress theme? i thought people just turned up for the fun of it
