 AEG 312  1275 cooper "s" block for sale its bored to 73.5 but has had minimal use. So is  very good,

have checked it over and is in excellent condition, has only one helicoil in the 11th stud, see pics. £450 ono
 
 
if asking price met will include a set of powermax pistons as well. Darran can put step liners in to take it back to STD if required.

 Also have AEG 480 special tuning crank from same engine at 10/20, this is the nitrided cross drilled one, crank nose is in exceptional condition, £400 ono.

any photos of the top of the block.

if its 73.51 that makes it a 1380cc

is this correct as a cooper s block can only be bored plus 0.60  72.16mm, i think

 

also is it thin flange looks like it

Its 73.5mm and has not been offset, offset bored can go 74mm with out issue. Seen them at 74.7mm using triumph pistons.
I can put step liners in, to take it back to standard if required.

Yes its a MK1 Block. Thin flange.

Best thing would be to sleeve it back to 1275 cc. At that bore with no offset the head gasket would be vulnerable to blowing across 2 to 3 and it will not be sensible to try to ever bore it further.

At 1275 that block would be worth well over £650.

Head gasket is fully supported by block at 73.5mm bore, at 74 without offset id agree with you.
