Hi guys and girls

Have gone to take the hub nut off the n/s and its too big for the 3/4 socket that i have used on previous minis that i have owned/worked on?

Does anyone know what size it could be and what car it could have come off? Were metro's hub nuts a different size to minis??

Thanks

I've had this problem before, turned out that one drive shaft was a pattern part

Some later hub nuts are metric sizes across flats (but still imperial thread)
For disc brakes they can be either 1&5/16" or 34mm

I just removed both my drive shafts from my 89 yesterday and I used a 34mm socket and it seemed to fit just fine but i didn't have af that size so couldn't compare, they are the disc brake type hub though so could be different.....

Rear's are 1" AF.

Drum brakes fronts are 1-1/8"

Factory fitted disc fronts are 1-5/16"

We have come across aftermarket disc CV's with 32mm and 34mm.
