Evans Classic Waterless Coolant Installed- Now Have Luke Warm Heating

Title says it all. New rebuild, was running just on water for a couple of weeks just to check for leaks etc and heating was good. Temp running about half way. Now installed the Evans waterless coolant, running the engine pretty hard around the lanes today, temp only reaching the 1st quarter, being a bit cold outside, put the heating on to only get Luke warm air.
Any suggestions?

You might find that thrashing it around cools it more.

How hot was it running prior to going waterless?

Try an 88° or, even better, a 91° stat.
An blank part of the grille opening if going below zero.

Mine does this, remember the fresh air snorkle is attached to the heater, so outside air temp will have an impact on what is then warmed and sent into the car or windscreen. Try disconnecting or blocking off the fresh air intake on freezing cold days?

That cold air intake isn't connected at the moment as I lost the cowling that fits in the engine bay.
Why try a different stat then. I need to fit a weather shield too, that might slow down the cold air circulation.

is there definitely no airlock in the heater matrix? as the heater takes its water from a bypass from the main circuit, it can still flow through the radiator fine, but still have air in the matrix.

See how hot the pipes going to and from the matrix are!
