Now we have our engine in our project 1991 Mayfair 998 its a case of fitting everything back on, as the engine had already been removed when we got it, its trying to work out where some bits go, most of it is falling in to place.

The one thing I cant work out is where the rubber pipe goes that is coming out of the oil separator on the side of the tappet cover.

Also does the heater valve just suspend in mid air ? as it doesn't seem to fasten anywhere.

Thanks in advance

Andy

that pipe would go to the air filter if your using the std set up,,,and the heater tap is it attached to head of is it the later type that by the baulkhead then that just floats there held in place by the water pipes......see pic

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply, I forgot to mention, its not a standard air filter it has a stage one kit on it with a K&N Cone filter, with the heater tap I think mine must be the one that suspends in mid air
