I Purchased the car in July 2012, 3 years after it had just gone through a full rebuild, which took over 3 years to complete.
Nothing on this car hasn’t either been replaced or refurbished, it really is immaculate.
Exterior
The shell was totally stripped all treated and then under sealed.
The only panel, which needed replacing, was the scuttle and this was fitted by a professional, using a heritage panel.
The bonnet was de-badged.
The Boot has had the boot light indent and holes flushed for smooth look.
The car was then fully primed and prepared, finally painted in Subaru blue (02C), with the roof painted in metallic graphite grey (matching to the wheel centres).
All new chrome work was fitted, including door handles, bumpers, light rims, grille and surround, aston cap, wipers, mirrors etc.
Sportspack arches fitted and colour coded.
7x13 “supalight” split alloys fitted with A539 Yokahama tires. (Rears are less than 2 weeks old).
Interior
Full Safety Devices rollcage fitted including the extra rear harness mount/stiffener.
Cobra clubman bucket seats with matching rear cover.
Sabelt 4 point harnesses.
New headlining, carpet, and boot lining.
Dash wrapped in carbon fribre vinyl.
Extra gauges inc oil pressure gauge and water temp fitted.
Zcars door handle set.
Momo deep dish steering wheel.
The floors and inner arches have also been re-undersealed again.
Sony Headunit and 2x 6.5” In Phase Speakers.
Suspension/Brakes etc
Full Hi-Lo’s fitted.
Subframes fitted all round, painted in graphite grey.
Refurbished Metro turbo 4pot callipers including goodridge hose conversion.
Grooved, Vented and drilled discs.
Fast road pads.
New rear wheel cylinders.
Front hubs were fully rebuilt, all new ball joints and new wheel bearings.
New track rods ends.
New steering rack gators.
The lower arms were also replaced for rose jointed, fully adjustable arms and also rear camber brackets – Negative 1.5deg camber.
Engine/Transmission etc
A 1982 - 1275 A series Plus, Clutch and Gearbox was purchased from M&M Mini and has been fitted just 2 weeks ago. (Still with 2 months warranty)
1 ¾ inch SU carb fitted, rebuilt using new gaskets.
New oil pump.
New water pump.
New belt.
Refurbished alternator.
Alloy (Radtec) 2 core radiator fitted.
Uprated bypass hose
KAD quick/short-shift
RC40 exhaust system
Sump guard
In the last 2 years shockers, bumpstops, cones, lower arms and rear brackets have been fitted.
This car has been very well looked after it has constantly been given whatever it needs, it truly is a great car and always gets looks everywhere.
The paint has got few chips on front end, and paint has very slightly bubbled in tiny areas, being the boot mainly.
Has 1 month Tax and over 11 months MOT. (Happy to add an extra 6months tax)
Genuine reason for sale. Will be sad to see it go.
