I am I the process of removing my rhs radius arm when I noticed the bottom bolt on the bracket that bolts into the heelboard area just fell out. Its the one on the subframe not the heelboad which I know you can get to through the sill and bins. Is this a new subframe? Cheers

Potentially or just cut open and retrieve and weld a nut back in and weld up the frame. Not easy and needs to be well done to keep strength.

its the bolt in this pic
(not my picture by the way)
a friend told me it will be ok with 3 bolts holding the radius arm on!!! as its never moved!

I think there was a thread not long ago with the same problem, I think the best idea was to drill the hole bigger to be able to fit another nut in, then put a bolt on the nut to be able to hold it then weld the nut in.

I think that pic is the thread but I found its the heelboard ones that cause issues which I've had to fix before. I will see what I can find.

Whoever said that 3 bolts is sufficient is a dangerous incompetent, so you know where never to go for advice again. It would also be illegal and an MOT failure. And, if anyone comes along and suggests a Rivnut, don't listen to them either. A nut welded in properly is a perfectly safe and acceptable repair.

Opened up the hole and jammed in nut then welded the gaps and smoothed over.
