I want to fit a set of corner bars to my bumpers, I already have overiders.
iwas wondering if there's a special way of drilling holes in chrome?

Not really, it's just normal steel under the chrome plating. That's providing there chrome not stainless as stainless is much harder to drill.

Use a bit of masking tape on the chrome to stop the drill bit slipping about and scratching the surface

Masking tape as already stated then Start with a center punch, then start by drilling something small about 3-4mm, then slowly increase the drill size by a couple of mm until the desired size is reached.

Use a cobalt drill bit at slow speed. This will easily drill through the chrome plate and or stainless steel.

+1 for cobalt bits at slow speed, and like mentioned start small and work up...plenty of lube is good.

Want to keep the heat down.
