Hi all
Came to start my mini up today and there is fuel leaking out of the carb on the overflow pipe.

It has just had a service and new oil but the mini is not being used on a regular occurrence as I haven't passed my test yet.

Is there anything I can check or fix to help this problem?

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks

I'd imagine this is due to the needle valve/float in the fuel bowl. Take the top off and see what's going on.

Overflow is often small bit of dirt stopping the needle valve closing fully, best way to help prevent this happening is fitting a small in-line plastic petrol filter in the rubber pipe just before the carb

A good blast with carb cleaner in the float valve will help.

It could also be a holed float. When you drop off the bowl to check the needle valve whip off the float and give it a shake. If it makes a sloshing sound its got a hole.

Took everything off and give it a clean and tidy and I've had no issues.

I've ordered a in-line fuel filter for the hose to carb to prevent any blockages in the future.

Thanks all for your help
