Hi TMF,

This is a question to all you guys rolling Falken Fk07E's or Yoko AO32R's.  Can anyone measure the height of the sidewall for me.  From the rim of the tyre to the top, level with the tread.

Thanks,

Will

My Yoko AO32R's are about 95mm from the edge of the alloy rim.

In a 165 / 70 / 10 tyre the sidewall height should be 70% of the tyres width, so that's 70% of 165mm which is 115.5mm, but I think that's from the the inner edge of the tire ....if I think about it the rim is probably 20mm deep, so that explains why I measured 95mm and the sidewall is actually 115.5.

Have a play with this http://tire-size-con...ize-calculator/

Cheers,

Dom

yes the sidewall is measured from the bead to the highest point of the sidewall.
