I have just measured the track width of my car and the front appears to be 90-100mm wider compared to the rear.
I have a home made rear beam, using some radius arm brackets from someone that had a few sets made up. The front brakes retain standard geometry so haven't been spaced out using metro flanges and vented discs etc.
I am planning to remake the beam as there are few things that could stand improving so thought I would alter the radius arms so they are back to a more standard or optimal position. For a fast road/track car is there an optimal difference in track such as the rear being 40mm narrower compared to the front?
Or even for a post 84 does anyone know what the standard figures are, so I can work to them?
Issues with coilover positioning won't be a problem.
Thanks
