As some of you know, my Mini was reversed into at work a little while back. The guy who did it has only just claimed on works insurance. The only thing is, we are being contacted by seemingly different people and so is one of the garages we got an estimate from. Now, I pretty sure that they shouldn't be asking for what they from the garage because we have been given the option on who to use etc. We were contacted by Equity Claims (multiple people within) and their assessors but the Garage were contacted by WNSA

I am confused as to what to do at the moment

My Garage said that they sent this:

Claim Reference: *deleted*

Vehicle: ROVER MINI NEON

Registration: J612 XWA

 

Please provide an estimate and images for the above vehicle to assist us with processing this claim.

 

Your estimate should be fully costed giving a detailed breakdown of repair operations, labour hours, paint operations, material costs, parts prices correct at the time of estimation and any additional costs involved in the repair of this vehicle. The estimate should also indicate the hourly rate used in the calculation of labour costs. Also where possible please note the current recorded mileage and tyre tread depths. The estimate MUST be on bodyshop headed paper.

 

Images should be in .jpg format and individual image files should not exceed 500KB. Failure to supply all of the following images, may result in delays in processing the claim.

 

Required Vehicle Images

1. Overall Front / ID Shot

2. Overall Rear / ID Shot

3. Overall Nearside - full side shot to include roof height

4. Overall Offside - full side shot to include roof height

5. Interior

6. (1) Chassis Plate, (2) Paint code, (3) Tax disc, (4) Odometer and dash lights with engine running

7. Stamped Chassis Number and VIN plate or sticker.

8. Pre-existing damage (if applicable)

9. Overall damage if possible

10. Detailed damage shots to support estimate

Additional Images Required for commercial vehicles

11. Load area

12. Specialist equipment

 

The above should be e-mailed to [email protected]. The above REP reference and vehicle registration should be entered in the subject of the e-mail to ensure easy identification. Please ensure your email and attachments do not exceed 16MB. Images can be sent on separate emails to reduce the size of each email, or compressed where possible.
