Can anyone confirm the length from end of dipstick to seat. My dipstick measure 10-1/4". I am not sure if this is correct, concerned on actual oil level. I believe this is an aftermarket dipstick and it appears the seat has moved....my engine is 998cc.

im not too sure but the MPI version is 3 inches longer than the older versions.. so you might want to consider that.. but ur using a 998.. if A series the seat is removable but the A + is straight on the block.. so which is yours?
