I have some cooper s steel rocker posts / pillars but they have seen better days and they a NLA new.

The ones minispares sell I believe are sintered according to vizards book.

Done a bit of searching on the net but can't seem to see any one selling anything other than the sintered 12g1926 and 12g1927  posts.

Who sells steel posts for 1.3 rockers?

Had hoped to use the posts from my 1.5 forged rocker set but apparently the posts are different although very nice looking

Thanks Dave

The sintered posts should be well up to the job.

Would be worth checking that the rocker pad is sitting centrally over the valve, not just side-side but also fore-aft. At half valve lift the line contact should be exactly in the centre of the valve (this is checked once the rocker shaft height has been optimised).

If it's a little out the old remedy was to drill out the stud holes very slightly to allow the post to be moved slightly towards/away from the valves. Not tried this, others on this forum may be able to say from experience.

I think Ill see if i can resurrect my steel cooper s ones.

I can measure them up at the same time and then have the drawing for getting some machined up at a later date.

Thanks
