Having recently passed my driving test at the ripe age of 23 i decided to buy myself a car, always wanted a mini and fell in love on a test drive, much to the disappointment of the wife.
After dragging my grandfather along to a garage we got a few minis over their pit for him to have a poke around... He used to rally minis back in the day so has a good idea of what to look for and a deposit has been put down on a 1989 mini city, awaiting collection sometime soon.
Cant wait to spend the weekends up to my elbows in an engine bay and no doubt on here a lot seeking advice.
