Ok  guys

 

Got a nice set of 1275GT stripes and need some help.

 

Im fitting these myself and im ******* myself.

 

are there any photo/video guides on how to do this??

This might help, it's not the GT one but it gives you a good idea how to fit. The vinyl is very flexible, don't be afraid to pull it about.

Peel back the backing paper to expose each end of the sticker. Attach each end to the car and adjust accordingly. Once it is lined up, use a squeegee (credit card will do) to permanently adhere the decal to the bodywork at one end. Peel back the backing paper as you go along and only squeegee the sticker down from one end.

Before you do any of this, mark the bodywork with chalk along the position that you want it to be fixed.

i saw some yank on youtube sort of sloshing a bucket of soapy water all up his, sticker was flapping around like mental- absolutely crapped myself.

I hate this kind of stuff with a vengence.

A little bit of soapy water on the back (sticky part) of the stripes helps but I would avoid spraying on the letters as they will be difficult to keep in place initially. They are also so small you should not get any air bubbles in these. The window sticker I would spray all over with soapy water, also make sure the glass is really clean.
