Hi all

4 years after taking apart my 2000 mpi Cooper Sport I'm now putting it back together.

Unfortunately I didn't label these parts and am hoping someone on here can help me by telling me where they go. As they were in a storage box with various bits of heater and air system stuff I'm assuming they are something to do with that.

Thanks

The long pipe/ducting goes to the hole in the front panel behind the grill i believe. (Passenger side) It should go under the wing to the fresh air vent. Not sure about the other bit.

The 'other bit' is the upper steering column cowl.

Thanks to you both. Problem solved.

It's obvious when you know the answer.

i'd weld the fresh air vent holes in the inner wing and flitch up- if you need fresh air- open a window!

reason i'm saying this is because this area is a well known rot spot... ive bought 3 cars with this area rotten, among others
