Shafts need to be cut and welded to mini shafts (sleeved also)
Megajolt or vauxhall ecu's can be used (your preference)

Then there's the subframe, you can either buy a fully built frame with mounts or make your own using vauxhall mounts or the like.

It's really down to the budget, have a look on the 16v forum or here there's loads of threads :)

Completely depends on year of engine and condition etc, wouldn't pay a lot though as they are fairly easy to find, yes as the physical size is smaller

Noting. Put the engine back in the Astra, fix the car up as they are actually pretty cool and then stick with a quick A series engine!

I know that's not in the least bit helpful. But on a serious note, if you haven't already done so, do some proper planning money wise. You'll never get back what you put into it, even if you do all the work yourself.

Parts you will want are engine, gearbox, drive shafts, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, loom, gear stick and mechanism, clocks

Will be easier to fit than a red top but still tough as it is quite a tall engine

Doesn't give you an excuse to tinker in the garage at night though and spend some quality time away from the missus and bloody Eastenders...
